FAQs

Are you a Charity?
Yes - DUTY TO CARE TRUST is a charity - our Registered Charity Number is 1189673.

How do you ensure that your therapists are fully qualified and legitimate?
We personally carry out our own checks on each therapist / practitioner by speaking to them, reviewing their website and looking for important study qualifications where necessary. However, whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided in this directory we do not accept any responsibility or liability for any errors that have occurred. It is recommended that NHS staff always check with providers that their service or organisation meets their own personal requirements, as is standard practice when choosing to work with a therapist / practitioner. We offer an impartial service and we cannot recommend or endorse any providers listed.

What will the therapists / practitioners be paid?
Each session provided by the therapist / practitioner will cost Duty To Care £40 (a pre-agreed and in the majority of cases heavily discounted charity rate) which our fundraising will cover. We are therefore able to provide a free service for our NHS staff.

When can we start providing sessions for NHS staff?
We are working round the clock to try and make sessions start happening at the beginning of April. If you are in urgent need of some support please contact support@dutytocare.info

Who are the free support sessions for?
The sessions provided by therapists and practitioners are for NHS staff only. We require that all NHS staff provide us with their NHS email address to access the sessions.
